From converted farm barns and orchard venues to grand halls and manor houses sitting right on the Cambridgeshire border, the county has a genuinely impressive range of wedding spaces — and couples who tend to know exactly what kind of day they want.
I’ve been playing at Suffolk weddings for over 30 years. In that time I’ve learned that no two couples are the same, no two venues sound the same, and no two evenings should feel the same either. What I bring to every booking is the experience to read what’s needed and deliver it — without you ever having to think about it.
I only take one wedding per week, which means yours gets my full attention from the moment you book right through to the last song of the night.
Venues I Know Well
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of playing at some of Suffolk’s most distinctive wedding venues, including Smeetham Hall Barn, Teybrook Orchard, Lanwades Hall, and Swynford Manor — which technically sits on the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border but feels very much like Suffolk to me.
Each venue has its own character. Teybrook Orchard brings a festival feel that suits couples who want something a little less traditional. Smeetham Hall Barn has the kind of warm, rustic atmosphere that fills a dance floor naturally. Knowing a venue in advance means I can set up properly, manage acoustics intelligently, and hit the ground running on the day.

Before your wedding, we’ll have a proper conversation about your crowd, your musical tastes, and the moments that matter most to you. My online planning portal makes the whole process straightforward — you can map out your day, add must-play tracks, flag anything you’d rather not hear, and even plan specific moments like a grand entrance or confetti drop.
On the day, I arrive early, set up discreetly, and get on with the job. I’m used to working around the inevitable last-minute changes that every wedding brings — delayed timings, running orders that shift, suppliers who need coordinating. That’s all part of what I do, and it’s why couples consistently tell me they felt completely at ease knowing I was there.
