East Anglian Wedding DJ and MC
Wedding DJ in Cambridgeshire
One wedding a week. Your day gets my full attention
Cambridgeshire is full of beautiful wedding venues — from converted farm barns and thatched country houses to waterside mills and elegant manor houses. I’ve been privileged to play at a good number of them over the years, and every one has its own character, its own acoustics, and its own feel.
What doesn’t change is what couples want from the day: music that fits, an evening that flows, and a dance floor that doesn’t need bribing. That’s what I’ve spent 30 years getting right.
I only take one wedding per week — which means when yours is in the diary, it has my full attention. No juggling. No showing up tired from the night before. Just a DJ who’s properly prepared and genuinely invested in making your evening land exactly as it should.
Venues I Know Well
Over the years I’ve played at some of Cambridgeshire’s most sought-after wedding venues, including Swynford Manor, Old Hall Ely, Bedinghams Farm Barn, Poet’s House Ely, Longstowe Hall, The Thatch Barn, Sheene Mill and many, many more.
Knowing a venue makes a real difference. I know where the acoustics are tricky, where the dance floor tends to fill from, and how to set up discreetly without getting in the way of your carefully planned room. If your venue isn’t on this list, don’t worry — I’m happy to visit or do my homework in advance.
MORE THAN JUST MUSIC
I guide the flow of your day so nothing feels clunky or awkward.
From ceremony moments to the dance floor, everything is handled calmly and seamlessly.
what to expect
Every wedding is different, which is why I don’t do a one-size-fits-all set. Before your day, we’ll have a proper conversation about your crowd, your musical tastes, the moments that matter most to you, and how you want the evening to feel. My online planning portal makes that process straightforward — you can map out your day, add must-play tracks, and flag anything you’d rather not hear.
On the day itself, I arrive early, set up discreetly, and then get on with the job — reading the room, responding to your guests, and keeping things moving without you ever having to think about it.
Weddings rarely run exactly to schedule, and that’s fine. I’m used to adapting on the fly — whether that’s a delayed first dance, a speech that runs long, or a venue that needs a slightly different setup to what was planned.
