Which Setup Works Best Here
A boutique venue like Poet’s House calls for a setup that complements the space rather than competing with it. The interiors are stylish and considered, which means the DJ booth needs to sit cleanly within that aesthetic. Having worked here a number of times, I’d recommend one of two options.
Modern White — My first choice for Poet’s House. The all-white finish sits elegantly against the venue’s interiors and never draws attention away from the room itself. Computer-controlled lighting adjusts beautifully to the mood — warm and subtle during dinner, more atmospheric as the evening builds. Heart projections are available for the first dance, with an optional glitter ball for the slower songs.
Marble — A slightly more substantial booth that works equally well in this space for couples who want something with a bit more visual presence. Solid, elegant, and very much at home in a venue with Poet’s House’s character. Heart projections available for the first dance.
Both setups are scaled appropriately for an intimate venue — they fill the space properly without overwhelming it. The result is a setup that looks like it was chosen for the room, because it was.
