I always look forward to working at weddings at Longstowe Hall, and Cally & Shane’s was one I’d been looking forward to for a long time.

Cally had booked me to provide my all-day service, something I’d never provided at Longstowe Hall before and was keen to demonstrate that I could do to the owners.

It was a gorgeous sunny day for the outdoor ceremony, and my ceremony setup was placed out of sight behind the pergola used for the ceremony.

All went well for this part of the day, and I left the newlyweds and guests to go and complete the setup of the main equipment in the marquee. For those looking for inspiration for ceremony music the songs used were:

Eventually it’s time for the afternoon wedding breakfast. I played a selection of music which had been chosen by Cally and Shane, and also introduced the speeches and provided microphones so that everyone could hear.

The evening

Cake cutting done, and it’s into the first dance (Little Things by One Direction).

From there, it was party time! The evening’s music was comprised of a few selected tracks from Cally and Shane, with the rest made up from guest requests and my knowledge of what was working on the dance floor.
