Wedding DJ & Woodhurst Grange: Sarah & Chris

Those that know me will know how much I LOVE the relaxed environment of a festival themed wedding, and Sarah & Chris’s wedding was certainly no exception.

As with most festival type weddings though, sadly it rained in biblical amounts for pretty much most of the day. That didn’t stop the guests enjoying the festivities with Sarah and Chris on their big day!

So going with the theme, it’s another outing for the Rustic Roadshow.

Sarah & Chris's festival style wedding at Woodhurst Grange

Sarah and Chris’s wedding was one of my smaller weddings this year so it was never going to be a rammed dance floor for the duration. Those that were there though made good use of the ‘floor and danced like their lives depended on it though 🙂

Even some ornamental flamingos made it onto the dance floor at one point during the evening!

The most romantic part? Sarah had originally told me there would be a break for sparklers at some point during the evening. These aren’t allowed at the venue due to fire risks so Chris had arranged a secret fireworks display to be set off from a couple of fields away.

And the playlist?

I was given a short selection of Sarah and Chris’s favourite songs before the day, with the rest of the evening being made up from guest requests on the night.  The only real caveat is that none of the “school disco” type songs such as Cotton Eyed Joe were to be played.
